Beckenham Place Park, Tuesday 17th June

Beckenham Place Circular.
On a warm sunny day, Alex led us on a lovely 3.5-mile walk around Beckenham Place Park. We began by walking to the coffee shop in the old stable block. After coffee, we walked around the splendid gardens before headed out around the park, keeping to the shade of the trees where possible, until we reached the centre of the park where there is a beautiful lake. Having walked along the side of the lake, we continued through the park to the exit nearest to Beckenham and the tram stop. All in all, it was a most enjoyable walk!
