Addington Village to Hayes, Sunday 19th October

On Sunday 19th October, seven club members turned out for this interesting walk on the periphery of Greater London. Starting from Addington Village tram stop, we made the steady climb to the top of New Addington before heading through Rowdown Wood. Having turned left towards the village of Nash, we continued to Keston where we stopped for lunch at the Greyhound Pub. Following an excellent meal we carried on over Bromley Common to our finish point in Hayes Village. The walk took us through several woodland areas, which enabled us to have a good look at the mushrooms and plants along the way. Overall, this was a very pleasant walk!
