Amble to Little Venice, Tuesday 11th August

From Baker Street Tube Station, we headed into Regents Park, where we walked beside the beautiful boating lake, which is clearly big enough for ships. From here it was a short walk to the Regents Canal. It was Fascinating to see that the people living on the boats on the canal had made themselves at home, with little gardens and patios. Passing Guy Gibson's house brought back memories of the Dam busters movie and bouncing bombs. Finally we came to the highlight of our amble, a most enjoyable stroll through "Little Venice".
