In almost ideal walking weather, seven club members turned out for this walk. Starting from Chipstead Station, we began with a steady climb up Park Downs. On reaching the top, we crossed Park Lane and followed the track westward through the woods and around a large open field. After crossing Holly Lane, we followed the track through the woods before turning south, with Ruffett Wood on out right, to make another steady but gentler climb to Perrots Farm, where we stopped for a refreshment break. From there, we followed the track past Lench Wood where we took a left turn onto the path that took us past the former Legal & General insurance offices and onwards into Kingswood, finishing the walk at the Kingswood Arms. At just under four miles, it was a short but most enjoyable walk!
