Gomshall to Shalford, Sunday 26th April

On Sunday 26th April, five club members set off from Gomshall station today to walk the seven miles to Shalford. After passing through the pretty village of Shere, we continued along the Pilgrims Way to St Martha's Hill where we stopped outside the church to admire the view towards Blackheath. It was a beautiful sunny spring day, wildflowers were in profusion, there were bluebells in the woods and lots of newborn lambs in the fields. At the end of a lovely day out, we arrived in Shalford from where we took the train home.
