Horley Circular, Tuesday 18th November

Having taken the 10:06 train from East Croydon to Horley we set out on a 4 mile circular walk. After walking through suburbs to the big lake in Riverside Park, we crossed the railway and headed across some dry fields and watched planes landing at Gatwick Airport. Arriving back at Horley Station at 12:45, some of us had some lunch in the adjacent café, while others returned to Croydon on one of the half hourly trains.
