Seven club members caught the tram from East Croydon to Addington, with the weather a little overcast. When we began walking, it was a little chilly at first, but we soon warmed up. After going down onto Featherbed lane, we climbed through the woods to Farleigh Golf Club, continuing along the ridge to Farleigh Village where we stopped for a coffee and took photos outside the church. We then pressed on to Warlingham Village where we stopped for lunch at the Horseshoe.
After lunch, we made our way along some pretty lanes to Riddlesdown Common. After crossing it, we headed down the hill, finishing the walk at Riddlesdown Station, having walked a total distance of just under seven miles. Although the walk was muddy in places, there was nothing we couldn't handle!
