Richmond on Thames to KIngston, Sunday 31st May
posted 2nd June 2026
On Sunday 31st May, I was joined by Judith, Graham and Dave for this five-mile trek along one of the most pleasant parts of the River Thames. In conditions that were perfect for walking, we set off from Richmond Station and headed across The Green and down past The White Swan to the river. Turning south, we kept close to the riverbank all the way. After around forty-five minutes, we took advantage of one of the many benches available for a brief drinks stop. We then continued to Teddington Lock where we stopped for lunch. Finally, we made our way to Kingston, completing what had been a most enjoyable walk! The only disappointment was that in such perfect weather, more members didn't join us!
