On Sunday 2nd March, after meeting as usual at East Croydon Station, we caught the 64 Bus to Forestdale. From there, we had a lovely 5 mile walk through Selsdon Woods and onwards up to Farleigh Golf Course. After a brief drinks’ stop, we continued via Chelsham Common and Crewes Lane before stopping for lunch at the White Lion Pub in Warlingham. There were seven ramblers on the walk with a further two members joining us for the meal. We soon forgot about the mud we tucked into a splendid Sunday Lunch accompanied by great company and lively conversation. After our meal, we caught the 403 bus from Warlingham Green back to Central Croydon.
