Teddington to Richmond, Sunday 23rd August

On Sunday 23rd August, eight club members turned out for this 5 mile walk from Teddington to Richmond. In near-perfect weather conditions, we set out from Teddington Station, strolling along the High Street until we reached the river. After crossing the river, we headed through Ham Common Nature Reserve where we took a short break. Turning north, we made our way across Sudbrook Park to Petersham, where we took a second refreshment break. Having waylaid an unsuspecting member of the public to take a group photo, we headed to the river, where we joined the Thames Path. After passing under Richmond Bridge, we turned uphill to the railway station where the walk ended. A good time was had by all!
