On a cool but sunny morning, just four members came out for our post Christmas walk. From the station at Clapham Junction, we headed west before making a large loop around Wandsworth Common. At its southern edge, we emerged onto the road which took us up a gentle climb through Balham. We then turned onto Tooting Common, continuing our journey south (directly into the low sun), and stopping for a drinks and comfort break at the handily placed café. On reaching the southern edge of the Common, we crossed Tooting Bec Road and made our way along the streets to our end point at Streatham Common Station, a total distance of just over five miles.
