Ten members visited the Whitechapel area of London on a warm, sunny morning. Although Whitechapel is famous for tales of 'Jack the Ripper', on this walk we discovered other men and women who have shaped the area's character. The area reflects the Jewish and Bengali communities that live there. The photo shows the group underneath a 'giant hedgehog' which is officially called the Neuron Pod and hosts science workshops for Queen Mary’s University.
